Samantha and crew were amazing. To get a couple hours of lightning thru Wild Dunes was another ~$650. She took control of everything so I didn't have to stress and she did an amazing job. Bacon, eggs, grits, or hashbrowns, biscuit. The one vendor that was not on the list was easily accepted (string duo). The Sweetgrass Pavilion was a beautiful space and the guest rooms were perfect. They were so responsive and helpful and truly made sure that our reception in Sweetgrass Pavilion was perfect, even though rain ran us inside. Everything is so close together that it was very convenient. The servers were wonderful. The food was to die for. We are so thankful everything worked out and it was better than we could have expected. Let me just say, if you choose to get married here know you will be in THE BEST hands! She helped literally in anyway I asked (even helped my mom bustle me when we were struggling ahaha). The fact that the venue host more than one wedding reception at the same time can be disturbing and take away some - even though they are not all on the same lawn - as wedding festivities are organised very close to each other and therefore privacy is not guaranteed during a family event. This was a bit hard on our guests as even with the reduced group rates it was still fairly expensive. We couldn't have been more happy with the outcome and it was truly a day we will never forget. But otherwise everything was a dream. They made sure we got hors d'oeuvres, cake and drinks throughout the night while we were busy mingling. We are sad we didn't get enough time to enjoy it all!
